Jaipur-based coworking space Wired Hub has launched a startup accelerator in Jodhpur. The duration of the program will be two weeks and will start in the first week of September.
With this, Wired Hub aims to help startups and entrepreneurs to create substantial business models and scalable startup ideas The team plans to spread the program further across other Tier II and Tier III cities with Chandigarh, Jaipur, Pune, etc. becoming the new startup hubs.
Himanshi Goyal, CEO of Wired Hub said, “Since Jodhpur has a lot of young enthusiastic entrepreneurs and a great business spirit, some great ideas came out after the recently organised Jodhpur Startup Meetup done by Wired Hub. We now wish to connect these idea/early stage startups to mentors and networks across the country, provide the right exposure, and help them in building a business through daily workshops, intensive training sessions around brand building, market validation, financial, legal support, technical support and then raising funds.”
Wired Hub has tied up with Rajasthan Angel Innovators Network and TiE Rajasthan to provide guidance and funding support for the startups participating in the program. The program is also supported by Qriyo (funded by Idein Ventures), another startup that came out of Jodhpur.
The program will end with a Demo Day to be hosted by IIT Jodhpur and will accelerate around 10 startups from Jodhpur.
Founded by Himanshi Goyal, Wired Hub publicly opened on February 1, 2016, and has organised regular workshops, mentorship sessions, and pitching contests. Blue Box Media co-founders, Pawas Jain and Deepanshu Khandelwal are also a part of the founding team of Wired Hub.
