In a bid to support women entrepreneurship in India, Pune based digital media platform StartupKafe has launched a programme, ‘WomenWave’.

WomenWave is a campaign to assist budding women entrepreneurs to nurture their business ideas and realize their goals. The objective of WomenWave is to empower 1000 business women before the end of 2018.

Nikita Vira, the founder of WomenWave initiative, said,

“A strong woman understands that the traits such as logic, decisiveness, and strength are just as feminine as intuition and emotional connection. She values and uses all of her qualities, and if she is given a chance to rise, she will touch great heights.”

Vedant Goel, the Founder of StartupKafe further said, “Entrepreneurship is a frequently confounding and tedious notion. We aim towards helping a woman startup, offering direction and advices along with any other help that they may require.”

The selected entrepreneurs will be provided with a platform to help them spread awareness about their ideas and efforts  through interviews and educational online diaries. The StartupKafe team will arrange for incubation facilities, mentorship, as well as it will connect them with investors to help gain financial support for the launch.

Also, StartupKafe will conduct interviews of 50 business women in 50 days to motivate them and help their stories reach a larger audience base.
